Metal-strip fastenings.-The ends d of a springy metal strip a engage in sockets e of a similar strip b and the strips are engaged together intermediate their ends by stud- and-socket fastenings. Each strip is enclosed in a fabric cover k which has openings m over the studs or sockets. These covers are attached to the joining edges of the garment. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4314/79 and 14.267/85, [both in Class 43, Fastenings, Dress].
