Planes, arrangement of. - The supporting- surfaces of an aerial machine comprise an upper horizontal plane a and a lower dihedral plane e disposed behind the plane a so that a rod g forms the end rib of the two planes. The planes are stayed by rods f. Steering and balancing.-The lateral parts of the planes a, e can be warped in an opposite or the same direction by pivoting the'end ribs g on an axis r. The ribs are turned by pivoted levers o<2> formed with forks n<2> entering slots m in the ribs g. The levers o<2> are rocked by cords s<1> ... s<4> connected to hand-levers by which each side of the planes can be independently warped. A rear tail k can be warped to alter the angle of incidence or to act as a rudder for horizontal steering. A rudder l may be provided under the tail.
