Blowpipe burners.-In a blowpipe burner in which oxygen is fed through a nipple 4, and acetylene, coal-gas, or the like is supplied through an annular chamber 6, the burner mouth 11 is connected to the tapering mixing- tube 9 by a flexible copper tube 10, and the burner mouth 11, connexion 12, tubes 10, 9, and the nipple 4 are removable and interchangeable to enable the blowpipe to be used for welding sheet-metal of any desired thickness.
