The contact conductors k are arranged between and level with special supporting - cables n, which also carry the collector x attached to the vehicle a running on the cable h. The required number of contact conductors are supported on insulators l on the cross supports m attached to the cables n at distances of about 20 metres. The collector consists preferably of a tubular frame r, t having four wheels p running on the cables n and carrying contacts v on spring arms u.
