12,768. Bomborn, B. May 25, 1909, [Convention date]. [Addition to 8454/10.] Impeller blades, centrifugal-fan. Relates to centrifugal impellers of the kind described in the parent Specification, in which the impeller is built up of corrugated rings formed from straight strips. The corrugated rings dare provided on the internal periphery, or on the external periphery, or on both, with scoop projections f, c, which are formed during the formation of the rings by the stamp. The projections on adjacent rings may be fastened together by a bead q, or by soldering, the general direction of the connected projections being axial. The direction of running of the impeller may be altered by bolting a different face of the impeller to the supporting-disk on the shaft.
