Abstract
10,888. Netherclift, E. H. May 3. Gas - mixing appliances.-Air and gas are drawn through two dry meters, the valve spindles of which are adjustably connected by gearing. The top levers d, h of the meters are connected by links e, i to slotted cranks f, j on the valve-actuating spindles g, k. The spindles g, k are connected by a chain l or other gearing. The relative motions of the meters can be adjusted by shifting the links e, i in the slots of the cranks f, j. The gas is admitted through a pressure-reducing valve p which brings it to atmospheric pressure, and the gas and air are drawn through the apparatus by a compressor r.
