Abstract
29,709. Stelfox, J. C. Dec. 21. Locking.-The air-blast valve in water-gas apparatus is locked against opening by a locking- lever H engaging a slot in the valve-operating rod A, and is released automatically by a diaphragm D in a chamber C connected to the gas generator, in conjunction with a second diaphragm F in a chamber E connected to the blast main. In another form, a single diaphragm is used to separate the two chambers C, E.
