Straight tubes between headers. - In an air-cooler for use with air-compressors, a series of sets of tubes through which water passes is enclosed within a casing composed of two symmetrical portions with a tube-plate b for supporting the tubes clamped between t h e connecting-flanges. The edge of this plate divides t h e entering current of air, the two currents flowing in symmetrical paths between baffles in each half of the casing.
