Post files; fastenings. -The lid and bottom of a card-catalogue box are hinged so that the box can be opened as shown, and a hinged flap B provided to facilitate access to the cards. When the lid is closed, pins J fit into slots K. A frame is fitted outside the lid to receive an index card and covering-glass, a pin being provided to keep the glass in place. The card - holding device consists of springs C connected by a rod E, hingedly mounted by means of plates F. The free ends of the springs are held by a rod H passed through holes in their ends and plates G. Clips I retain the cards in place.
