Abstract

529,174. Hinges. TURNBULL, F. May 11, 1939, No. 14089. [Class 85 (ii)] The cover d of a road surface box is removably hinged to its frame f by a pair of pins a, a<1> which enter sockets e in the frame and can be withdrawn axially to release the cover. They are fixed in position by a block of lead &c. hammered into a recess b in the hinge socket between the adjacent ends of the pins. In another form, a separate block b is used for each pin. Specifications 21603/12, 22573/13 and 26204/13, [all in Class 65 (ii)].
