Bedsteads fitted with sanitary conveniences.-The sanitary convenience comprises a bed-pan f of enamelled metal resting on a plate e slidably mounted on pillars b which are secured to a top framing c and a base a. The bed-pan is raised into position for use beneath an opening in the bed, normally closed by a padded block, by means of chains g passing over pulleys h, h<1> and secured to a handle i. [Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 745/75, and 2353/80.]
