8224. Gros, C. F. May 10, 1909, [Convention date]. Springs, arrangement of and mounting bodies and undercarriages on.-Relates to automobiles having two four-wheeled undercarriages. Fig. 1 shows an elevation and Fig. 3 an underneath plan view. The two axles H of each undercarriage are united on each side of the vehicle by equalizing levers E pivoted at their centres b to the longitudinal springs F. Transverse springs G pivoted to the main frame connect the outer ends of each pair of longitudinal springs. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 9464/06.
