Tyre attachments to rims.-A solid indiarubber tyre, Fig. 2, is clamped and stretched by rings L with conical seatings, which are secured together by bolts P passing through a wooden filling-ring R. In the form shown in Fig. 4, a solid tyre is vulcanized to a metal band U, the edges of which are gripped by rings L screwed to the wooden filling R.
