4896. B³dingen, T. Feb. 26. Exercising - apparatus. - Relates to a motordriven apparatus for exercising the legs of bedridden persons. Levers 43, 44, connected with the legs of the patient and pivoted at 45 to an adjustable frame 3, are oscillated by a motor 57 or handle 60 through cams 12 and links 26, 28, 41. The cams are formed so that the motion imitates walking or climbing and the extent of movement is adjusted by screws 32.
