Pulley - blocks.- Pulley - blocks, constructed in other respects in the usual manner, are provided with an inverted U- shaped binder B passing over a crown piece C, the object being to prevent the binder from closing in at the top when a heavy stress is brought to bear on the sheaves. Any form of eye-bolt or bow A by which the block is hung may be fitted, and hangers E are provided when the block has more than one sheave.
