Each bearing consists of a split sleeve 1, provided with a flange 2 at one end and secured upon the flexible rope or cable a by means of a tapered, plain, or screwed collar 5, and a bush or roller 6 loosely mounted upon the sleeve. The flange 2 may be replaced by a collar or nut.
