Abstract

Atmospheric gas burners; gas supply.-Relates to regulating-devices for gas-burners, and consists in providing means which cannot be altered without access being obtained to the interior of the regulator. The regulator is made to form a screw connexion between the burner and gas-pipe, and consists of two parts 1, 2, Fig. 2, connected by a passage 4. The part 1 contains a screwed valve disk 5, provided with perforations 8 and a projection 7. The base of the disk has a cross cut 9 which enables it to be turned by a screwdriver or key to regulate the flow of gas. The disk may be placed in the part 2, and may take the forms shown in Figs. 4, 8, and 7.
