Abstract

24,761. Littlewood, H. Oct. 28. Razors.-A holder for use in stropping both edges of a double-edged safety-razor blade without disturbing the same when once fixed in the holder, comprises a recessed member 1<1> and a movable member 2 hinged thereto at 3. The member 1<1> carries studs 5 which pass through the usual holes in the blade 4 and enter recesses 2<1> in the member 2, which is secured upon the blade by a split cap 6, spring catch 7, or other suitable fastening. The member 2 may be removably hinged by a hook and recess to the member 1<1>; and the handle 1 may be made detachable from the member 1', which could thus be adapted to fit on to the handle of the safety razor.
