Abstract
20,962. Placek, A. Sept. 14. Gyroscopic apparatus for aerial machines comprises a ring-shaped mass 9 mounted on a spindle 4 and secured by connecting-members 11 fastened to the lower end of the spindle. The upper bearing 13 is adjustable in a grooved guide 14 to permit the fixing of the spindle in a vertical position. The spindle also carries a screw propeller 5 below the blades of which the ring 9 is cut away.
