Planes, arrangement of; propelling; steering. -Relates to machines of the kind described in Specification 21,261/08, in which the lifting force is obtained from the current of air directed by a centrifugal fan b upon a curved annular aeroplane a. In order to obtain an horizontal propelling force, the aeroplane a is provided with a number of hinged sections c, by adjusting which the current of air may in part be directed obliquely. Stopping way.-Tbe speed of the machine may be checked by manipulating the section c diametrically opposite to that which is effecting the propulsion.
