Aerial machines with aerostats; framework; propelling and steering.-A framework a of steel tubes carries a number of small propelling and lifting screws g, d, and is attached to a balloon or other light body which, with the lifting-screws, raises the framework into the air. The propelling - screws g are mounted on two or more shafts f at each side of the framework, and are driven from motors in the cabin e. Steering is effected by stopping or reversing the shaft on one side of the framework. The lifting- screws d are mounted on the rods a, and the screws at either side of the framework may be stopped or reversed to balance the machine. The framework is stayed by wires j attached to a truss fixed to the cabin.
