Abstract

23,004. Erede, G. Oct. 18. Aerial machines coupled in pairs; planes, arrangement of; propelling.-Single or double deck aeroplanes, each with separate motors, are coupled together and arranged so that stoppage of one motor can be counterbalanced by stopping the symmetrically placed motor with respect to the central motor. As shown, the aeroplanes are arranged at different levels with the central one 1 at the lowest point. The groups 1, 2, 3 or 1, 4, 5 or 2, 3, 4, 5 are all capable of keeping the machine in motion.
