Abstract

20,109. Baumberger, K. J. T. Sept. 2. Brackets.-An adjustable bracket for supporting curtain-rods of various lengths and at various distances from the wall comprises a metal baseplate 1 with projections 3 to keep it at a suitable distance from the wall, a saddle-like piece 5 fitting over and sliding on the upper edge of the baseplate and secured to it at any desired position, and a part 6 carrying the rod and adjustable in the part 5. The part 5 has a projection 7 in contact with the wall, and is clamped to the base-plate by a screw 9 engaging one of a series of numbered holes in the base-plate. The sliding portion of the part 6 is secured in position on the part 5 by a set-screw 10. Specifications 5180/79, 4978/83, and 9421/96 are referred to.
