Abstract
17,326. Munro, E. M., and Railless Electric Traction Co. July 26. Supporting. - Hangers for overhead conductors used on tramways and in electric traction systems without rails are made in two or more parts A ; the parts are made separable and each is capable of carrying a conductor D. The parts are made with flanges A', B<1>, which are preferably recessed and grooved as shown at A<2>, B<2>, and the parts A can be carried separately on a cross-wire, or may be bolted together with or without an intermediate spicing- piece. If a third overhead wire D<1> is required, as is the case in certain railless traction systems; the intermediate piece B may be mide to carry this conductor, as shown.
