Cam gears. - In valve-gear of the type in which both admission valves or both exhaust valves are actuated by one eccentric and cams h mounted on an oscillating shaft d, each cam acts on a roller mounted on a pin k, secured in blocks which have a slight horizontal freedom in the plunger b carrying the valve spindle a. The link n takes the lateral thrust of the cam. The gear is worked by an eccentric-rod f pivoted to a lever e, which is adjustably secured between the spindles d of the two admission valves. The exhaust valves may be similarly worked.
