Bed &c. rests.-A head-rest for invalids, applicable to beds, chairs, couches, baths, carriages, motor-cars, or the like, consists of a box-like frame with flexible strips across the front, upon which a cushion may be placed. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the backboard B and side members A form a box, preferably open at the top and bottom, having flexible webbing or wirework C at the front to support a cushion D. It is attached to the bed-rail or bath frame J by hangers H, the box being supported by thumb-screws or hooks G engaging holes or notches in the hangers when adjustment is required. Additional adjustment may be obtained by forming the sides A in two parts with a thumb-screw and slot, or similar connexion. Alternative forms have supporting- arms suitable for use in carriages &c.
