Shuttles.-The spring A which keeps the shuttle-peg in its working position is arranged in a vertical position as shown, and serves also to press on the end B<1> of the retaining-spring B when the peg is turned up, so as to facilitate skewering. Part of the spring A may be received in a recess K in the shuttle, or its end may be fixed by entering a notch in the shuttle. A pin J limits the outward movement of the spring B.
