18,791. Ormerod, T. Aug. 27. Loom shuttles.-Consists in applying to the skewer 2 a peg or stop-piece 4, on which the spring 1 bears, when pressed down by the cop, so that too much strain cannot be put on the spring. The peg 4 may be fixed to or form part of the spring, and further acts as a fulcrum for the spring 1, causing the free end 3 to bear outwards and against the inside of the cop, the hole 5 in the binge block 6 being made larger to allow this movement.
