Shuttles.-The point of the shuttle peg is provided with a spring B secured to the flanged end C of the peg and to the metal washer F, which bears on the nose of the bobbin, so that the shock of impact of the end of the shuttle nearer the free end of the peg with the picker is reduced. According to the Provisional Specification, a spring and washer may be used at each end of the bobbin, the washer may be of leather or rubber, and the spring may be in the form of flanged rubber tubes.
