Abstract

3763. Iser, A. Feb. 18, 1908, [Convention date]. Studios.-A studio is arranged so as to enable the sitter to view himself while being photographed, and also to take himself if desired. The studio is divided into two halves by a sliding plate-glass partition a. The camera chamber is illuminated with a very weak light, and for the exposure the sitting or posing chamber is well illuminated by lights such as g. This has the effect of producing a darkened background, and the plate-glass screen a becomes an apparent mirror enabling the person photographed to see himself. An automatic release connexion n, l, m is provided to enable a sitter to take himself.
