Ascension pipes; dip-pipes.-The bridge pipe c is connected to the hydraulic main e by means of a neck d containing a damper h movable on an axis lying transversely of the neck. The ascension pipe a and the neck d are formed with annular cups at their upper ends to receive flanges on the bridge pipe c, the annular cups being filled with water. During charging or discharging, the ascension pipe can be connected by means of the bridge pipe to a separate pipe i, while the neck d can be closed by means of a lid.
