Inkstands.-A safety ink-holder for use with pivoted school benches consists of a glass vessel a having an upwardly-bent dipping-cup f at one end, the main body being covered by a plate which projects over the rim. The flange b of this plate rests on a rabbet in the metal frame c which is fixed on the bench, and a swinging locking-lever d hooking on a pin at its free end serves to retain the ink-holder in the frame. A lid h is arranged so as to fall down and cover the opening in the tube f when the bench is turned over.
