21,424. Campbell, D., Binnie, R. B. J., and Reid, W. Sept. 27. Lubricators.-A shaft bearing is lubricated by means of a wheel D placed in an opening C in the brasses A, and mounted on trunnions K which bear upon two spring blades L mounted within an oil chamber E. Instead of using two blades, the wheel D may be mounted within a slot in a single blade. The blades are supported at one end on steps M and at the other end on springs N, or are suspended by springs. The lubricant is distributed over the shaft by a scraper S, and is returned through ducts to the chamber E in the usual manner.
