Rotary disk valves; sliding valves; locking valves. -In a rotary-disk or a sluice valve, shown in Figs. 1 and 2, respectively, the handle f is pivoted to the lid or valve b, and the casing is provided with suitable catches e, su that when the valve is closed, it can be forced tightly against and locked to its seating by engaging the handle under the catches e, as shown in Fig. 1.
