In a modification, the outlet c is provided with a plug and the trap is connected by a pipe with an overflow from a lavatory basin or sink above. Fig. 3 shows another modification in metal adapted to be bolted to a slate or other bed h. The end a<3>, Fig. 1, of the passage k is formed as shown and the pipe f joined thereto by turning over the end f<2>. In the first-mentioned modification, the passage k is shortened and an intermediate piece is connected to it by an interrupted screwthread.
