Lavatory-basin waste fittings.-An outlet fitting for lavatory basins comprises an overflow passage a<5> leading to a large area space a<4> through which the waste flows from an opening a<3>, closable by a plug c, to a tubular stem c connected to a waste pipe i. The stem e has a conical head e<2> between which and the conical orifice d<2> in an integral boss d on the basin lies a rubber &c. seating piece h, flanged at h<2> to press against the boss and to receive a washer g pressed up by a nut f. A grid c<4> extends across the stem e.
