Abstract

Actuating pumps.-Two forms of mechanism are described by which a half-speed shaft driving the fuel-pump of an internal combustion engine is rotated continuously in the same direction after reversal of the engine. The crank-shaft of the engine is automatically adjusted through an angle of 180 degrees relatively to the half-speed shaft.
