Incandescent gas lamps. -The inverted burner mouth is surrounded by a transparent cylinder v and a closed globe w, and the flues x, shaped as shown in cross-section in Fig. 2, are formed with bent parts x<1>, Fig. 1, for deflecting the combustion gases from the air inlets. The gas nipple is regulated by a pin r raised by a spring f and forced downwards by a transverse screw s, and a sieve s<1> is arranged in the mixing-chamber b, from which a tube h extends into the mixing- tube b<1>. A chamber k containing a sieve is interposed between the upper part b<1> and the lower non-conducting part n of the mixing-tube. In a modification, the burner tube is bent as shown in Fig. 6, and the lamp is provided with two flues x.
