Carding-engines.- A scribbler for wool and other fibres comprises main cylinders 1 each having a series of workers 2, a fancy 3, two doffers 4, and between the latter a cleaner 5 also acting on the main cylinder as a fancy roller. In combination with each worker 2 is a stripper 6 and a small cleaner 7 disposed as shown and acting as indicated in Fig. 2. Doffers 4 are also provided with strippers 6 and cleaners 7.
