20,651. White, J. Oct. 12. Water-waste preventers, valve and siphon discharge. When the valve n is raised by means of the knob p, a flush descends the pipe e leading to the basin. At its conclusion, the vacuum produced causes a siphon g to discharge, the long leg h being connected to the pipe e. An after-flush is thus obtained. A second siphon k, which communicates with the basin by a pipe m, is provided to discharge a comparatively small quantity of water in case slops, dirty water, &c. are thrown into the basin.
