Inclined plates E,E<1>, Figs. 1 and 2, guide the contents on to the flange c<4> of a tray C, which is pivoted at c', and works through a slot in the side of the box, the flange closing the slot when the box is not in use. Projections F, F<1> prevent more than one match from being delivered, and a vertical partition may be fitted to prevent interference with the pivot of the tray.
