Abstract

686,870. Boxes. FREYSTATZKY, K., (trading as METALLWAREN-FABRIK WANSBEK). Nov. 20, 1950 [Dec. 12, 1949; Dec. 27, 1949], No. 28335/50. Class 18 Articles may be delivered singly from a box comprising a top 4, side walls 5 and end walls, an inner bottom 2 having an opening b, adjacent an end wall 6, for the passage of an article; and an outer bottom 3, relatively slidable endwise and having its inner surface spaced from the opposed edge of the end wall 6 a distance not less than the thickness of an article. A cut-out a is provided in the end wall 6. The inner surface of the outer bottom, opposite the opening b, may have a recess c into which the article drops, the depth of the recess and the height of the cut-out being such as together to provide clearance for an article; or the recess may be omitted and the height of the cut-out correspondingly increased, the shoulder 11 thus preventing delivery of more than one article at a time. A stop may be provided on the outer bottom to limit its sliding movement by engagement with the end wall 6.
