Globes and holders therefor ; reflectors.-An electric lamp with an elongated bulb c and filaments d is enclosed in a detachable globe a, silvered down to the level of the end of the filament. The globe may be of spherical, ellipsoidal, or other shapes, for instance those shown in full and in dotted lines respectively, and is preferably attached to the cap e of the lamp by means of a threaded metal collar b, the edge of which is turned down over a flange on the neck of the globe. Holes a<4> for ventilation are provided.
