Brakes-For mounting cycle and like brakeoperating levers of the roller type, a bracliet a, secured by a shank or a cross-bolt and a nut g to the handle-bar lug, has a pair of wings c to form bearings for the inner ends of the levers, pressurepieces n being provided. As shown, the bolt passes through an under and over piece of the bracket, but the over piece may be omitted, the bolt being fixed in the under portion. The pressure-pieces may consist of a concave piece having a rear shank that fits in a hole in the handle-bar, or they may be of other known construction. The bearings of the levers need not be in alinement, and, as a further modification, a continuous double lever may be employed.
