Mixed fabrics; figured fabrics.-A durable fabric, suitable for covering the seats and backs of railway carriages and tramcars, and like seats, is woven with a cotton or linen warp and a horse-hair or other hair weft. A pattern is produced upon the face of the fabric in any ordinary manner by fibre, preferably manila fibre, or whalebone, thin metallic cord, or flattened wire.
