Abstract
11,266. Rettich, V. A. May 27, A.D. 1903, [date applied for under Patents Act, A.D. 1901]. Incandescent gas lamps.-To obtain a longer flame than usual without increasing the length of the burner, the mixing-tube is made in two parts B, G. The lower tube B is made conical, and the mixture of gas and air issuing therefrom injects from beneath the shell F additional air into the upper tube G. The shell F, the tube G, and the globe-holder I are spun together at E, and are supported upon the conical tube B by a helical spring K, K<1>, which forms an anti-vibration device.
