Folding paper ; feeding sheets. - The paper pile B' rests upon a bed between adjustable guides b and under a presser-plate C, pivoted in grooved lugs c<1> and fitted with presser-bars c<5>, c<7> and an adjustable e weight c<12>. The bottom sheet is buckled between an idler roller D' and a fluted rubber separating-roller D, the next sheet being retained by retarding-r o lle r s e<1> ,f<6>. The buckled sheet passes between fluted feeding-rollers D<3>, D', pressing-rollers G, G<1>, in- .clined feeding-rollers S, S', and vertical guards L<5>, to grooved feeding-pulleys L', L', L<3>, on which it is advanced to receive two more folds by means of vertical rollers M, N, J, M<1> and guides P, R with adjustable stops Q. The thrice-folded sheet passes between the roller M' and a spring-pressed roller u<2> projecting through a guard u<4>, over an extension T<2> of a wing T of the framing, between feeding-rollers T', V, and into a delivery tray W provided with a fluted feeding-roller X an adjustable gauge or stop W<2>, and a sliding block W'. The roller G is preferably of metal or covered with metal, and the roller G' of rubber or covered with rubber. The roller G is on a main shaft, from which are driven the rollers D, D<4> by toothed gearing, the rollers e<5>, f<6> by toothed and worm gearing, and the roller J by bevel gearing. A shaft L is driven by bevel gearing from the shaft of the roller J. Shafts l<5>, l<6>, l<7> of the pulleys L', L<2>, L<3> are driven from the shaft L by worm gearing. The roller S' is driven from the shaft l<7> by worm gearing, and the roller X from the shaft l<5> by toothed gearing. Toothed gearing connects the rollers G. G<1>, the rollers S, S', the rollers M, N, J, M', and the rollers M', T<1>.
