Abstract

190,388. Woodward, W. A. Feb. 14, 1922. Syringes. - The soft metal nozzle 8 of a hypodermic syringe 14 is formed with an end 9 which is inclined in the same direction ,as the bevelled pointed end 7 of the needle 6, and is preferably secured to the needle by casting. The nozzle is preferably formed with a cylindrical boss 10 to facilitate its insertion and removal. In a modification, the boss 10 is omitted and the union 12 is of cylindrical shape.
