8267. Ravet, E. April 9. Studs, screwing into place.-The nut A, Fig. 1, having two threads preferably of different diameters, is screwed on the stud U, and is clamped by the bolt E. The stud C may then be turned by a spanner. The nut A may have three, four, or more different diameters, as shown in Fig. 3, and the outside may be faced, as at H, I, J, to suit different sized spanners.
