The shade may be supported by a spring f, Fig. 2, consisting of a light curved spring-steel or other metal band or strip having bent fingers to grip the holder d and ears or catches g, g<1> to engage the neck of the shade. A projecting spring arm f <x> may be provided to engage the ring or nut d'. Fig. 5 shows a clip having two segments h<x> of smaller diameter than and attached to the upper part. Fig. 6 shows a bent-wire clip having a part f to enter the neck aperture and two spring arms f <x> to engage the ring or nut d'.
